Description
River Cleaner Robot
The River Cleaner Robot is an innovative environmental science project designed to collect floating waste from rivers, lakes, and water bodies. The main goal of this project is to reduce water pollution and promote environmental awareness using robotics and automation.
The robot moves on the water surface and uses a conveyor or collection mechanism to gather plastic waste, bottles, and other floating debris into a storage container. This project demonstrates how technology can be used to protect natural resources and keep rivers clean.
It is an excellent project for school and college students, science fairs, environmental exhibitions, and STEM education programs.
Key Features
-
Automatic or remote-controlled operation
-
Collects floating waste from water surfaces
-
Eco-friendly and pollution-reducing concept
-
Simple mechanical and electronic design
-
Low-cost and educational project model
Components Used
-
Microcontroller (Arduino or compatible)
-
DC Motors
-
Conveyor belt / Waste collection system
-
Motor Driver Module
-
Battery or Power Supply
-
Floating Base (Boat structure)
Working Principle
The River Cleaner Robot floats on the water surface and moves forward using motors. As it moves, the conveyor or front collection mechanism scoops up floating waste from the water. The collected waste is then transferred into a storage container on the robot. This process helps keep the water clean and reduces pollution.
Applications
-
River and lake cleaning demonstrations
-
Environmental awareness projects
