Description
RFID Based Door Lock System
The RFID Based Door Lock System is a smart and secure access control solution designed to provide keyless entry using RFID card or tag technology. This system allows only authorized users to unlock the door, making it ideal for homes, offices, schools, laboratories, and smart security projects.
The system works by scanning an RFID card or tag. When a valid card is detected, the microcontroller processes the data and activates the electronic door lock using a relay module. Unauthorized cards are denied access, ensuring enhanced security and safety.
This project is widely used for engineering projects, IoT security demonstrations, science fairs, and embedded systems learning.
⭐ Key Features

⚙️ Working Principle
When an RFID card is placed near the reader, the system reads the unique ID of the card. The microcontroller compares the ID with stored authorized data. If the card is valid, the relay activates and unlocks the door. If the card is invalid, access is denied and the door remains locked.
