Description
Fire Fighter Robot Project
The Arduino Fire Fighter Robot is an intelligent and practical robotics project designed to detect and extinguish fire automatically or with minimal human intervention. The robot uses an Arduino microcontroller, flame sensor, and a water pumping system to identify fire and respond quickly.
This project is ideal for school, college, and university students, and is commonly used for science fairs, robotics competitions, and STEM education.
Key Features
-
Automatic fire detection using flame sensors
-
Arduino-based control system
-
Water pump system for fire extinguishing
-
DC motor–based robotic movement
-
Compact, efficient, and safe design
Components Used
-
Arduino Board (UNO or compatible)
-
Flame Sensor
-
DC Motors with Wheels
-
Motor Driver Module
-
Water Pump & Pipe
-
Battery / Power Supply
Working Principle
The flame sensor continuously monitors the surroundings for fire. When fire is detected, the sensor sends a signal to the Arduino. The Arduino processes this input and activates the motors to move the robot toward the fire source. Once close enough, the Arduino turns on the water pump to spray water and extinguish the fire.
